We mention here how you can cover one exciting place in each of the seven continents of the world and increase your miles on the holiday map.

1. Africa
Often referred to as the Mother Continent due to it being the oldest inhabited place on Earth, Africa has a diverse wildlife, majestic mountains, picturesque beaches and several other gems. We mention below some of the destinations in Africa that are a must-see for any avid traveler.

2. Europe
Spanning from England to Italy to Greece, European countries are full of vibrant and diverse cities known for their spectacular architecture, culture, food and landscapes. Its popular landmarks, beaches, resorts and attractions make it a destination that has something to offer to all.

  • Travel Tip – You can combine Africa and Europe in a single round trip by including Spain and Morocco in your itinerary.  You can fly from Barcelona to exotic African cities like Marrakech or Casablanca and take ferries into Africa from the southern tip of Spain.

3. Asia 
There is an abundance of interesting culture, art, landscape and spirituality in the countries of this continent that makes an avid traveler coming back for more. If you have a travel bucket list, there is a chance that there are a number of Asian countries on that list.

4. Australia
The large cities of Perth, Sydney and Melbourne are iconic places to visit, with buzzing centers and a multitude of beaches, from the sands of Bondi to the surf of Trigg. Outside of the major hubs however, there are hundreds of smaller beach towns where you can appreciate Australia’s beautiful coastline.

  • Travel Tip – Since flying to Australia can be really long, one can easily combine it with a stopover in Asia. For example, flights like Singapore Airlines fly from Singapore to several cities in Australia.

5. North America
The continent of North America is bordered by several oceans and comprises of 23 countries such as Mexico, Bermuda, Canada. It is an extremely varied place to visit; from polar bears in the treeless Arctic tundra of Canada, to the sun-kissed beaches and coral of St Lucia in the Caribbean.

6. South America
South America is an amazing continent, and while there are some wonderful beaches and coastal areas to explore, there is also plenty of mountain terrain to explore, too. From the vibrancy of the streets in Rio de Janeiro to the stunning peaks of the Andes, a traveler is sure to be left spellbound touring this continent.

7. Antarctica
The coldest, driest and windiest continent on earth, Antarctica is a land of extremes. An amazing fact about this place is that if all the ice sheets of Antarctica were to melt, sea levels across the globe would rise by more than 200 feet!

  • Travel Tip – Cruises from Argentina to Antarctica are increasingly becoming popular and one of the best ways to set foot on the southern most continent of the world. You would first need to fly to Buenos Aires, and then take an internal flight to Ushuaia, which is the southernmost tip of Argentina. You can then take a large vessel cruise to only enjoy views from the deck or a smaller cruise vessel which will actually allow shore landing.
